Founded in 1988, SES is headquartered in Huntsville, Alabama, with operations in Columbia, Maryland; Warner-Robins, Georgia; and Pax River, Maryland. From prototype and fabrication through complex modification and integration of aviation and ground systems, SES continues to provide worldwide support to our customers.
SES is a recognized leader in system modification, integration, and training of rotary wing, fixed wing and unmanned aircraft. We also support military Ground Systems. We are a business which brings OEM-level capabilities, without the associated cost. Services range from prototype and fabrication through complex modification and integration. We are strategically located, have trained personnel, and over 1M sq. ft. of world-class manufacturing and integration facilities. SES is ISO certified and compliant with all DCMA regulations and requirements.
Huntsville is home to SES’ Aviation and Integration Facility and Manufacturing Operations. Although classified as a small business, SES is one of the premier aviation reset/modification providers in the Southeastern United States with approximately 100+ aircraft in work at our facilities at any given time. We have performed hundreds of prototype, production, and integration efforts on numerous manned and unmanned platforms including almost every U.S. Army helicopter platform. SES’ “One Stop Shop” capabilities in Huntsville include aircraft modification, manufacturing, ground combat support, research and development (R&D), program management, engineering, logistics, high volume procurement, and training.
SES’ R&D Laboratory is located in Columbia, MD in a state of the art 32,000 sq. ft. facility. Manufacturing Operations are located in Huntsville, AL, in facilities in excess of 63,200 sq. ft. with our Aviation and Integration Facility occupying more than 1.17M sq. ft. Two aviation hangars at the Huntsville International Airport add an additional 100,000 sq. ft. to our aviation footprint. SES also has facilities supporting Navy and Air Force programs located in Pax River, MD and Warner Robins, GA.

Quality Assurance
SES's Quality Management System is certified as being in conformity to ISO 9001:2015, AS9100:2016, and AS9110:2016 by Intertek. ISO 9001:2015 represents a model for Quality Assurance in Design, Development, Production, Installation, Management and Servicing. AS9110 represents a well-defined Quality System for the fabrication and assembly of devices for aircraft, weapon systems, aerospace and commercial applications. Furthermore, SES is FAA Part 145 Certified (Bell 206, 407 & BK117) and has on-site DCMA Oversight. SES earned the following recognitions from DCMA for our systems: DCMA Approved Purchasing System, DCMA Approved Property Management System and SES was recognized as a DCMA Green Low Risk Company.
Environmental Management System

Preferred Supplier Status
SES has also been awarded the preferred supplier certification from Boeing Corporation, Northrop Grumman, and L3 Communications. The preferred supplier certification is an achievement based on SES meeting an overall Bronze level certification for Business Processes, Silver Level for Delivery performance and bronze level for SPC. Additionally, in 2015, SES was named Boeing Supplier of the Year in the Aerospace Support Category from among 13,000 suppliers in 47 countries.
